Have you ever felt like you hit “rock bottom” in your life? That “end of the rope” place is so painful & scary. I’ve had some tough times over the years, but this past year broke my heart 💔 deeply. With so many dark days I really had to stretch & ask tough questions to rebuild my life.
Drawing Horses
Horses are such incredible creatures! There are horses next to a park near where I live. Whenever I walk by them, I feel such a deep sense of reverence. I know they can be playful and feisty also, but no matter what, they are powerful catalysts to help us become more present. With so much magic and mystery around horses, I’ve been itching to draw them!

Sending My First Children’s Book to Publishers
In May, I sent off my book dummy and manuscript for my very first children’s book off to the publishers. It was a BIG, brave moment. My palms were sweaty as I typed up the emails and I worried I’d pass out before hitting “send.”
How I Got Over My Fear of Drawing Faces
Noses 👃 Eyes 👀 Ears 👂 … ALL these elements have freaked me out for a long time, so much so that I wondered if I should ever even try to draw faces more realistically. But, I am soooooo glad I persevered!! I’ve truly overcome the fear & actually really enjoy drawing faces now after completing a “100 Faces” drawing challenge
